When I went to the doctor last Friday I was told that I have major congestion in my sinuses and fluid in my ears (causing the dizziness). I was prescribed a decongestant and a nasal steroid. The decongestant makes me feel AWFUL. The dizziness is gone, however, now I have a full blown sinus infection (I've had so many that I pretty much diagnose myself). Which leads me to the question, why didn't they give me an anti-biotic while I was there? My doctor is out on Fridays so I had to see the nurse practitioner (I would have just waited till Monday, except that the room spinning for 24 hours straight was beginning to drive me insane), I have never seen her before. I don't think she realized the extent of my sinus troubles. So now 4 days later, I'm still feeling bad and I have to make another appointment. That sinus surgery I am so scared of is starting to look good.
Obviously I'm not running right now. And I have nothing to talk about. Which makes this blog boring.

Have you tried a neti pot to rinse your sinuses? I was hesitant the first time it was recommended to me (by my allergist!) but after using it I'm convinced it helps!
Yikes....yuck....sorry you are feeling so crummy....if it is too nosey then I am sorry...but what sinus surgery do you need? I have had one and Kayla has too. Sounds like you might need to "bite the bullet" and have it done:)
you should try a neti pot rinse too. C Mount does it and he said it does wonders. Hate your not feeling better! Oh and your blogging is not boring. We all have those days.
I am so sorry you are sick! I know one person who has had sinus surgery and it did help... I think the recovery is the worst part, but you have plenty of little helpers! Might should think about it.
Hope you're feeling better soon!
Sorry that you are feeling so crummy. I hope that it gets better soon. Jeff had sinus surgery in 2002. It helped him so much, but the recovery is rough. I think it is definatly worth it, though in the long run.
