Has anyone read her books? I was at Wal-mart yesterday (I know, it was terrible) and there were several. I didn't know which one to choose. Any suggestions?
I have not. I am always looking for more reads though. Have you ever done paperbackswap.com. I am thinking of doing this. My book budget is getting crazy and I just can't make it to the library. Do you have the Sophie Kinsella (might be spelled wrong) series? I want to read those. I just picked up the Gatecrasher and it is good so far. We should just swap. I could get your through the next several months maybe.
I've read her. She's good chick lit. I am reading feind! I use our library like it's going out of style! You wouldn't believe how much money you save by going to the library versus buying them...but then I don't get to participate in book swaps like JenD suggested, and that sounds like fun. REALLY good Christian Chick lit is Melody Carlson...especially These Boots Weren't Made for Walking, really good. If you like periodic books (which is what I gathered from previous posts) you might like Francine Rivers, again Christian Fiction...she does an awesome series on the 5 women in the Bible.
Speaking of Christian lit, have you read the Karen Kingsbury series? Those will change your life. Our church has a wonderful library, that I use much more than the public one. Jen D
Hey JenD, I haven't done paperbackswap, but I do take my used paperbacks to the used bookstore here. They give you credit and you can get more books. I love doing it. And that SplashPad is in SHE... Its fun. If you decide to come over here and do it, I will meet you there.
Her books are fantastic. Don't start with Anybody Out There though. It is her most recent book and it seriously broke my heart. It is really good, but you def. don't want to start with that one.
I have read a lot of her books. I really like her mystery series (main character is named Heather something). The first one is called "Size 12 Is Not Fat." They are pretty light reads.
