OOPS!

For those of you who read the previous post...I goofed up! The measurements on the first smoothie are wrong. Here is what it should say.

Banana Blueberry smoothie

1 cup vanilla flavored low-fat yogurt (I use Dannon Lite and Fit)
1 medium banana, peeled (optional)
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup orange juice
4-5 ice cubes

Process all ingredients in blender until smooth. Yum!

247 calories with banana, 147 without

You can still make the smoothie with 1 cup of blueberries and 1/2 cup of orange juice, it will just be a little thinner consistency. Also, you could throw in 1/2 cup of baby spinach leaves to fit in some of your greens for the day! It won't change the taste much at all.

Sounds good! We make a similar smoothie with frozen orange juice conc. instead of the yogurt to make it a little thicker. I love putting the blueberries in it. It makes it soooo good! I can't believe you ran 4.5 miles today. Sounds like you are almost ready to run a 10K!!!
