Menu Planning Monday

Oh, I know all of you have been waiting on this post all weekend (cue sarcasm)! Well, here it is all bright and shiny and new for this week!

Monday : BBQ Pork Sandwiches with spicy fries (actually just sandwiches for me and Hubs, the kids don't usually eat the bread, just the filling. I'll also steam some veggies for Little Sister since you all know she's a 4 year old vegetarian!

Tuesday : Boo and Hooties Mommas Chicken. Y'all, this was so good when I made it the first time! We ate every single bite of it!

Wednesday : Leftovers

Thursday : Crock Pot Potato Chowder (I'm copying this one from Gayle over at Grocery Cart Challenge, it sounded so good!)

Friday : Leftovers

Saturday : Hubs wants to grill Chicken and Kielbasa (no complaints here!)

Sunday : Leftovers

It has gotten so cold here! This morning it was in the high 30's when we woke up! Not typical October weather for the deep south! I wanted a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of coffee pronto! The weather was very mild around here this weekend. Good thing too, since my kiddos has tons of energy they needed to burn up from being cooped up in the house all last week with strep throat! Strep throat is a nasty, nasty thing!

Be sure to pop back on here either tonight or tomorrow (not promising tonight since the girls have baton). I am going to attempt to take a picture of one of the funniest fall lawn decorations I have ever seen. It literally made me laugh out loud when I saw it!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Monday! Now, go get to work on those menu plans!

Did you by any chance catch Oprah on Friday? She had someone (can't remember who) and they roasted a chicken and then used it three ways. The first was chicken enchildas. I think I am doing those this weekend. I think the recipes are on her website. I have leftover chilli this week and that is about all I know. I had a plan, but it has since been changed
