You just won't believe it!

Guess what happened here last night? We got snow!! Not just a little dusting either! We got around 2 inches! Thats a lot for around here! It was so beautiful! We let the kids go out and play in it for a little while, but being that we live in the Deep South, we don't own snow gear, so they had to come in after a few minutes and dry out. They loved it though.

I feel bad for my dad! He is stuck in a hospital bed during all this beautiful weather and he loves snow! He's like a little kid when we get snow (which is like every five years!) He's doing well though!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to pop on here really fast to let you know that my dad came through the surgery great! He ended having a quad instead of a triple, but we are thankful that they discovered it! He has a long road of recovery ahead of him, but he is doing well. They got him up walking today and he did one entire lap around the heart floor! The doctors are very optimistic that he will make a speedy recovery! When I have more time I will tell you the entire story of how we came to find out that he even had a heart problem, it was a shock to us!

Prayer Please

Hey everyone! I know I haven't been around here much lately but trust me when I say that things have gotten so busy that they are almost overwhelming around here.


Please keep my dad in your prayers. He will be having triple-bypass surgery tomorrow morning at 6 a.m.! I will get up at 2 am to be at the hospital with the rest of my family. Please pray for safe travels for me.
